Signing up took one click. Canceling takes a hunt through account menus, a “Are you sure?” screen, two discount offers and a survey. Dusty can do the hunting for you, and stop before the final click so you see exactly what you are agreeing to.

Why canceling is so hard

Many services make leaving harder than joining. The cancel link hides under Account, then Plan, then Manage, written in grey on grey. Some sites send you through a series of retention offers before the real button appears. Others move the option every few months, so the steps you found last year no longer work.

None of it is difficult. It is just tedious, and tedious is exactly what Dusty is for.

How Dusty handles it

1

Tell Dusty which subscription

In plain words, in the DustyWire app. You can name the service or open its website first.

2

Approve the plan

Dusty shows the steps it will take, for example: open the account page, find the subscription, start the cancellation, stop before confirming.

3

Sign in yourself if asked

If the site asks for your password or a code, Dusty pauses and you type it. Your password never goes to the AI.

4

Dusty works through the menus

It reads each screen, finds the next link and turns down the retention offers you did not ask for.

5

You make the last click

Dusty stops on the final confirmation screen and tells you what it found, so the decision stays yours.

Try asking Dusty

“Cancel this subscription. Show me before the final confirmation.”

“Unsubscribe me from this newsletter.”

You stay in control

You approve the plan

Dusty shows you its plan first. Nothing runs until you say go.

Passwords stay yours

When a sign-in or a code is needed, Dusty pauses and you type it yourself.

Step in any time

Move the mouse or press a key and Dusty waits, then picks up where it left off.

Tell it where to stop

“Stop before payment.” “Show me before the final confirmation.”

When it needs you

Some steps only a person can do. If a site wants a phone call, a CAPTCHA or a code sent to your phone, Dusty pauses and asks you to handle that part, then carries on. If it cannot finish, it tells you what it got done and what got in the way.
